The Vortex.2 Top Forced Air Racing Helmet features a pipe on the top of the helmet that channels airflow from an external system and circulates it around the top of the head to reduce heat and increase cooling and onto the front of the shield to prevent fogging. Based on the lightweight Vortex.2 and has perfected through testing with top Nextel Cup drivers, the Vortex.2 Top Forced Air features an air bladder top pad with micro ventilation holes that not only accelerate airflow but evenly disperse it around the driver's head for maximum comfort and cooling. Locating the pipe on the top of the helmet instead of the side allows for increased driver head movement because the pipe does not interfere with the protective head surround of the latest safety seats.

An effective helmet is one that fits properly. Have an assistant use a measuring tape, or a piece of string to measure the circumference of your head starting at a point approximately one inch above the eyebrows in front, around a point in the back of the head that results in the largest possible measurement, and finally wrapping back to the front. It is a good idea to take several measurements to make sure you have the largest one.
